Pool Play and Single Elimination Tournament held at El Molino & Analy High School Fields and Forestville Youth Park
All teams and individual ratings will be based on NAGAAA ratings and format. Your team's rating must be based on the ten (10) highest rated players on the team's roster. Team's players with no established NAGAAA/ASANA rating must rate their players based on the ratings process. Players without a rating will be asked to complete a player rating assessment form to be filled out by the team manager or coach prior to their team’s acceptance into the Rainbow Classic.
ONLY TWO (2) NON-RATED PLAYERS PER TEAM WILL BE ALLOWED!!
Team Rating from the highest ten players are as follows:
Team rated 96 to 135
No player rated over 15 (in honor of this year's tournament anniversary)
No team rated over 95
No player rated over 11 (in honor of this year's tournament's anniversary)
Note: 2018 NAGAAA/ASANA ratings will apply.
All teams will be guaranteed (4) games. Teams will first be playing in round robin pools for seeding (3 games), then will enter a single elimination for regular play.
The cost for the tournament is $335 by Sunday, July 7th, 2019 and $385 after Sunday July 7th. Due to scheduling as well as other concerns, we cannot accept any new teams after Sunday, July 14th.
Registration will take place Friday night at the Rainbow Cattle Company Bar located at 16220 Main Street (Downtown Guerneville) from 7pm to 10pm. Registration will also take place at the fields (both the High School and Youth Park) from 8am - 4pm . Sorry, no individual will be able to register after Saturday's games. Please make sure to have your ID with you upon registering and make sure you have signed in before stepping onto the field.
Equipment and Medical Supplies
All teams and divisions can play with ASA approved double-walled bats. Please have your bats ready for inspection by the umpire of your game prior to taking the field. It will be up to the discretion of the umpire to allow or ban a bat for a game. Each team will start with one old and one new ball for each game. Although we hope no one gets hurt and/or has any injury, they do occur. For this reason, we encourage you to bring your own team's medical kit with you to the fields for just such an emergency. We will not have medical supplies available at the fields.
There will be no coaches/managers meeting prior to the tournament. However. the tournament rules will be distributed at Registration on Friday night and Saturday morning. They will also be posted at the fields Saturday morning. Please be sure to review them.
